The Best Teacher in Second Grade written by Katharine Kenah is a charming book for children(ages4-6). It is the story of a new kid in school named Luna. She feels left out until she discovers she has something in common with the teacher. They both love the sky. Luna's idea of a 'midnight circus' helps her to be accepted by her classmates when they need help. This is a good book for all children, but it would be especially helpful for new students.
