5This book is about a girl named Stacey who once lived in New York. She moved to a new town called Stoneybrook, Connecticut. One night when she was calling her friend, Laine, back in New York, she asked if she could come visit her in Stoneybrook. Laine agreed. She acted a little differently than Stacey remembered. While she visited, they went through some tough times with their friendship. Laine ended up wanting to go home a day earlier, because she thought Stacey and her friends were childish. They ended their friendship, but Stacey still had six more friends that she could hang out with.
