This is an EXCELLENT action-adventure series for, umm, probably middle school and up--including adults! "James Bond at 14" is probably the best description I can give, with the non-stop action represented by that. This Horowitz series, while having some violence, has no on-screen or graphic gore or sexual situations that I can recall; in fact, I need to go read them again (I liked them so much that I bought them, which is a SERIOUS compliment in my world!). The first few books are, in my opinion, the best; at some point, they get a little farfetched (again, in my opinion), even for the genre.
